Phthirápteros ectoparásitos de ungulados silvestres ibéricos

Abstract

[ES] Los phthirápteros que parasitan mamíferos silvestres en grandes cantidades pueden afectar a sus hospedadores de manera negativa. La identificación de los phtirápteros presentes en ungulados silvestres ibéricos se ha realizado con muestras procedentes de diferentes lugares de España. Se han utilizado un total de 1240 ejemplares dando como resultados 3 especies diferentes de phthirápteros del suborden anoplura (2 del género Solenopotes, 1 del género Haematopinus y 1 del género Linognathus) y 7 especies del grupo mallophaga (6 del género Bovicola y 1 del género Damalinia). Por lo tanto se han citado 11 especies en total, de las cuales 3 son nuevas citas en España: Bovicola (Bovicola) tibialis y Solenopotes burmeisteri en Dama dama y Bovicola (Werneckiella) fulvus en Ammotragus lervia.

[EN] Phthiraptera that parasitize wild mammals in large numbers can negatively affect their hosts. The identification of the phthiraptera present in Iberian wild ungulates has been done with samples from different parts of Spain. A total of 1240 specimens were used, resulting in 3 differetns phthiraptera species of the anoplura suborder (2 of the genus Solenopotes, 1 of the genus Haematopinus and 1 of the genus Linognathus) and 7 species of the mallophaga group (6 of the genus Bovicola and 1 of the genus Damalinia).
