TESORO PÚBLICO ESPAÑOL: ESTUDIO MATEMÁTICO Y FINANCIERO DE LOS PRODUCTOS OFERTADOS

Abstract

[ES] En nuestro TFG realizamos un estudio matemático y financiero de los productos ofertados por el Tesoro Público Español. Para ello, partimos del análisis de este organismo, así como de los productos ofertados, destacando sus características esenciales y el procedimiento de subasta utilizado en la emisión de los mismos. Analizaremos también las expresiones utilizadas para calcular la rentabilidad de los valores del Tesoro, y seguidamente llevaremos a cabo diferentes supuestos de inversión donde se aplican dichas fórmulas. Como consecuencia de los resultados obtenidos, en último lugar, observaremos cómo han ido evolucionando los tipos de interés en estos últimos años, poniendo un especial énfasis en la rentabilidad de las Letras del Tesoro. En nuestro trabajo, con este estudio matemático y financiero de los productos del Tesoro, trataremos de ver cómo funcionan realmente y qué rentabilidad obtendríamos a día de hoy.

[EN] In our TFG we carry out a mathematical and financial study of the products offered by the Spanish Public Treasury. To do this, we start with the analysis of this organization, as well as the products offered, highlighting its essential characteristics and the auction procedure used in the issuance of the same. We will also analyze the expressions used to calculate the profitability of Treasury securities, and then we will carry out different investment assumptions where said formulas are applied. As a result of the results obtained, lastly, we will observe how interest rates have evolved in recent years, placing special emphasis on the profitability of Treasury Bills. In our work, with this mathematical and financial study of Treasury products, we will try to see how they really work and what profitability we would obtain today.
