DERECHO DE IGUALDAD Y NO DISCRIMINACIÓN POR RAZÓN DE SEXO

Abstract

[ES] En este trabajo desarrollaré lo que abarca el derecho a la igualdad y no discriminación de la mujer. Comenzaré con una amplía definición de lo que es la igualdad de género. Seguidamente encontraremos la definición del concepto “discriminación”, haciendo hincapié a todo lo que conlleva. Y dentro de este apartado haré una especial referencia al acoso. Profundizaré en el tema de violencia de género, hablando de casos actuales y sentencias. Analizáremos la efectividad de la legislación española referente a este tema. Contemplaremos la importancia del Convenio de Estambul y la influencia que tiene en nuestro país. Para ir concluyendo, encontramos Jurisprudencia, para ver casos reales, ya que a mi parecer es un punto primordial para conocer la situación actual de la mujer con mayor claridad, además de añadir a lo largo del trabajo casos de actualidad y sentencias. Por último doy una breve conclusión mostrando mi postura sobre este tema.

[EN] In this work, I will develop what is included in the right to equality and non-discrimination of women. I will begin with a broad definition of what gender equality is. Then we will find the definition of the concept "discrimination", emphasizing everything that entails. And within this section I will make a special reference to harassment. I will go deeper into the topic of gender violence, talking about current cases and sentences. We will analyze the effectiveness of Spanish legislation regarding this issue. We will contemplate the importance of the Istanbul Convention and the influence it has in our country. To conclude, we found Jurisprudence, to see real cases, since in my opinion it is a primordial point to know the current situation of women with greater clarity, besides adding throughout the work current cases and sentences. Finally I give a brief conclusion showing my position on this topic.
