PERFIL SOCIODEMOGRÁFICO DEL TURISTA Y ATRACTIVO DEL DESTINO: ANÁLISIS DEL CONTEXTO ANDALUZ Y JIENNENSE

Abstract

Andalucía es una región turísticamente muy visitada, con diversas tipologías de destinos como litorales, culturales, rurales, entre otros. Por otro lado, Jaén es una provincia perteneciente a Andalucía con menor número de visitas turísticas, pero con un representativo patrimonio cultural y rural, y un gasto medio superior al resto de provincias andaluzas. Por lo tanto, el objetivo del presente trabajo es la obtención de perfiles turísticos en función de variables sociodemográficas como género, edad y clase social en relación a las diferentes tipologías de destinos en Andalucía, así como el perfil sociodemográfico de la provincia como de la ciudad jiennense. Dichos perfiles turísticos se han obtenido de datos recientes y extraídos como fuente principal, el Instituto de Estadística y Cartográfica en Andalucía (IECA). Tras los resultados, se concluye que no existen diferencias en el perfil del turista rural y cultural de Jaén con sus correspondientes perfiles del turista en Andalucía. Andalusia is a highly visited tourist region, with different types of destinations such as coastal, cultural, rural destinations, among others. On the other hand, Jaén is a province belonging to Andalusia with the least number of tourist visits, but with a huge and significant cultural and rural heritage, and an average expenditure higher than the rest of Andalusian provinces. Therefore, the objective of this work is to obtain tourist profiles based on sociodemographic variables such as gender, age and social class in relation to the different types of destinations in Andalusia, as well as the sociodemographic profile of the province and the city of Jaén. These tourist profiles have been obtained from recent data and extracted from the Institute of Statistics and Cartography in Andalusia as the main source. After the results, it is concluded that there are no main differences between rural and cultural tourist profile in Jaén and the one in other parts of Andalusia.
