| Abstract: | El
objetivo
de
este
trabajo
es
explicar
y
analizar
la
importancia
de
los
cognados
del
español
en
el
proceso
de
enseñanza
del
inglés.
Para
ello,
se
analizará
un
glosario
compuesto
por
55
cognados
que
pueden
presentar
dificultad
a
los
estudiantes.
El
glosario
será
analizado
en
términos
de
origen,
evolución
semántica
y
posibles
dificultades
para
los
alumnos.
También
se
añadirá
una
breve
contextualización
histórica
y
teórica. The aim of this paper is to explain and analyze the importance of the Spanish cognates in the process of teaching English. To do this, a glossary comprising 55 cognates in which students may have difficulties will be analyzed. The glossary will be studied in terms of origin, semantic evolution and possible difficulties for students. A brief historical and theoretical contextualization is also added. |
