Alumnado con altas capacidades intelectuales: principales problemas que presenta.

Abstract

El tema fundamental de este Trabajo Fin de Grado será la superdotación y la problemática que puede presentar en el aula el niño superdotado durante la etapa de Educación Primaria. Es un tema relevante para todo maestro que imparta clase en esta etapa ya que, a lo largo de su trayectoria puede encontrarse con alumnos/as que presenten altas capacidades. La metodología que se ha empleado para su elaboración ha sido la recogida de información, comparando distintas fuentes y autores. En primer lugar, se define y contextualiza el concepto de superdotación estableciendo los distintos tipos, modelos teóricos explicativos y su diferenciación con otros términos. Después se describen una serie de características generales y específicas de este tipo de alumnos/as. Por último, se profundiza en los problemas que presentan reflexionando acerca de ciertas cuestiones que el docente debe tener en cuenta cuando se enfrenta a la educación del superdotado.

The main topics of this Final Project will be giftedness and the problems that can happen in the classroom during Primary Education when there are gifted children in the class. It is an important issue for every teacher imparting classes at this stage because they may find alumni / ae who present high capacities. The methodology I have used has been collecting information, comparing different sources and authors. First, I defined the concept of giftedness contextualized establishing different types, theoretical models and their differentiation with other concepts. Then I have described a series of general and specific features of this type of alumni / ae. Finally, I have gone deeper into the problems presented by reflecting on certain issues that teachers should keep in mind when facing the education of the gifted.
