El trabajo social en la Polonia de la II Guerra Mundial: la figura de Irena Sendler. Una reflexión para el trabajo social

Abstract

[ES]En este Trabajo Fin de Grado, realizaré una semblanza de Irena Sendler, trabajadora social y enfermera polaca en la Segunda Guerra Mundial, sin olvidar el contexto que la envolvía a ella, a todo su entorno y a lo que se entendía en aquel momento como Trabajo Social, todo ello apoyado por el análisis de por qué el Trabajo Social ha ido evolucionando de esta manera y no de otra, partiendo de los hechos pasados con el fin de realizar una aproximación a el pasado, presente y futuro del Trabajo Social en Polonia y en Europa. Destacando finalmente su figura dentro de la intervención social en las situaciones más extremas y de la necesidad de recuperarla para su conocimiento e investigación para las bases de la doctrina y el conocimiento del Trabajo Social europeo.

[EN]In this Final Project, I will make a semblance of Irena Sendler, a social worker and a Polish nurse in Second World War, not to mention the context that surrounded her, its surroundings and what was understood at the time as Social Work and is supported by the analysis of why the Social Work has evolved in this way and not another, based on past events in order to make an approach to the past, present and future of social work in Poland and Europe. Finally highlighting his figure in the social intervention in the most extreme situations and the need to recover for their knowledge and research bases for the doctrine and knowledge of the European Social Work.
