Estrategias de la juventud obrera frente a la crisis: propuesta de investigación sobre jóvenes con cargas familiares

Abstract

[ES]La juventud es considerada un grupo homogéneo o una etapa de transición entre la infancia y la edad adulta, sin embargo la realidad es que son un grupo heterogéneo, y analizar a estos jóvenes debe hacerse atendiendo a su origen y posición social. Esto debe llevarse a cabo a través de dos instituciones que forman parte de su trayectoria: el sistema escolar y su situación laboral. Los jóvenes con cargas familiares constituyen un grupo interesante para comprender cómo la juventud se enfrenta de formas diversas al desafío de construir una vida autónoma en un contexto de escasas oportunidades como es Jaén. La presente propuesta de investigación se centra conocer mejor la realidad de este colectivo y en las estrategias de autonomía que han tenido o tienen que utilizar estos jóvenes para afrontar esta crisis, dada su situación, en la ciudad de Jaén.

[EN]Youth is considered a homogeneous group or a transitional stage between childhood and adulthood, but the reality is that they're a heterogeneous group, and analyzing these young people must be done according to their origin and status. This procedure is performed through two institutions as part of its trajectory, these being their educational system and their employment situation. Young people with family responsibilities are an interesting group to help understand how youth faces, in different manners, the challenge of building an independent life in a context of limited opportunities such as Jaen. This research proposal focuses on better understanding the reality of this group and strategies of autonomy that these young people have had or have to use to face this crisis, given their situation, in the city of Jaén.
