Aprendizaje basado en proyectos en Educación Infantil: descubriendo la cultura íbera

Abstract

En este trabajo se desarrolla un proyecto diseñado para el segundo ciclo de infantil, concretamente para los/las niños/as de 5-6 años, y que tiene como tema principal el descubrimiento de la cultura íbera. Es muy importante trabajar la historia y el patrimonio cultural desde edades tempranas, ya que esto nos ayudará a conocer nuestros antepasados y comprender mejor nuestro presente. Además, si los niños y niñas desde pequeños conocen y valoran la historia y el patrimonio del que forman parte, probablemente en un futuro, lo consideren como suyo y ayuden a protegerlo. Hay muchos métodos para enseñar historia y patrimonio cultural, pero actualmente, en la mayoría de los colegios, el alumnado aprende mediante metodologías en las que el alumno/a solo escucha lo que el profesorado dice y no participa de manera activa en su aprendizaje, por lo que el aprendizaje está más limitado y condicionado por la pasividad. Por eso, en este trabajo vamos a utilizar una metodología constructivista y motivadora como es el Aprendizaje Basado en Proyectos (ABP).

This job describes a project designed to work with the second cycle of children education, specifically for the children of 5-6 years old. Its main objetive is to discover the Ibera culture. It is very important to work the history and cultural heritage from early ages, because it will help us to know our past history and to understand our present better. Furthermore, if kids know and appreciate the past history and culture heritage, probably in the future, they will consider it as their own culture and they will help to protect it. There are a lot of methods to teach history and cultural heritage, but actually, in most schools, pupils learn just listening to the teacher and they are not an active part of their learning. That is because it is conditioned and limited to a passive learning. Therefore, we will use a constructivist and motivating methodology, such as a Project Based Learning (PBL) methodology.
