Miradas y Ausencias. Estudio iconográfico

Abstract

En este trabajo se estudiará el mito recogido por Apuleyo en El Asno de Oro o La Metamorfosis. Más concretamente la escena donde Psique revela la verdadera identidad de su amante, al mismo tiempo que Cupido descubre la desobediencia de su mujer, lo que hará que huya abandonando a Psique. Se hará un estudio iconográfico para ver cuando aparece por primera vez en el arte, cómo y cuándo se codifica y la influencia de esta codificación a lo largo de la historia.

In this work will be study the myth collected by Apuleyo in The Gold Donkey or The Metamorphosis. Specifically the scene when Psyche reveals the true identity to his lover, at the same time that Cupid discover the defiance of Psyche. This fact will end with the flight of Cupid and the abandonment of Psyche. A study iconographic will be too see when appear for the first time in the art, when and how is coded and the influence of this codification in the history.
