Alteraciones neuropsicológicas en adictos a sustancias

Abstract

Este trabajo ha analizado la posible influencia, en memoria y funciones ejecutivas, del consumo de droga (fundamentalmente, cocaína y alcohol) en personas adultas. Se ha evaluado la memoria mediante el Test de Aprendizaje Verbal (TAVEC), y las funciones ejecutivas mediante el Test de los Cinco Dígitos (FDT). La muestra ha estado formada por 28 personas. Los resultados indican que existen diferencias entre los adictos a sustancias estimulantes y aquellas personas que no consumen. Las personas adictas presentan un peor rendimiento en el TAVEC y en el FDT.

This work has analyzed the potential influence on memory and executive functions of drug use (mainly cocaine and alcohol) in adults. Memory has been evaluated by the Verbal Learning Test (TAVEC) and executive functions by the Five Digits Test (FDT). The sample consisted of 28subjects. The results indicate that there are differences between drugs addicts and those who do not consume. Drugs addicts have poorer performance in TAVEC and the FDT.
