Aproximación al concepto de Craving: Modelos explicativos y estrategias de intervención.

Abstract

El siguiente trabajo centra sus esfuerzos en servir de ayuda a la hora de entender el concepto de craving. A lo largo del texto se realizará un viaje a través de la historia del mismo, intentando aclarar su significado, causas y efectos, y de manera paralela, conseguir desmitificar y diferenciar el craving de otros procesos con los que suele confundirse. Para ello, nos centraremos en las aportaciones de los principales autores que han colaborado en la contextualización del mismo. De igual forma, veremos los diferentes tipos de craving que se pueden padecer y los modelos que los explican. Por último, indagaremos sobre las técnicas cognitivas y farmacológicas más efectivas que se emplean actualmente en el manejo del craving.

The following work centres his efforts in using as help at the moment of understanding the concept of craving. Along the text a trip will be realized across the history of the same one, trying to clarify his meaning, reasons and effects, and in a parallel way, to manage to demythologize and to differentiate the craving of other processes with which it is in the habit of getting confused. For it, we will centre on the contributions of the principal authors who have collaborated in the contextualización of the same one. Also, we will see the different types of craving that can be suffered and the models who explain them. Finally, we will investigate on the most effective cognitive and pharmacological technologies that are used nowadays in the managing of the craving.
