DESARROLLO DE UN MECANISMO DE INTERACCIÓN MEDIANTE LA DETECCIÓN DE GESTOS PARA UN ENTORNO 3D.

Abstract

[ES] En este presente trabajo se ha desarrollado una aplicación para grabar y reconocer gestos, además de integrarla con un entorno 3D. El objetivo principal es analizar las características de Leap Motion para el reconocimiento de gestos. Con la ayuda de GRT (Gesture Recognition Toolkit) se ha analizado la precisión del reconocedor. Además se ha realizado un estudio valorando los resultados obtenidos, los cuales han permitido definir el conjunto de gestos que se integran en una interfaz de usuario orientada a permitir el uso de un juego basado en un entorno virtual.

[EN] In this work, an application for recording and recognising gestures has been developed. It has been also integrated within a 3D environment. The main goal of the present study is to analyze the features and performance of the device Leap Motion for gestures recognition. The accuracy of the developed application has been evaluated by using GRT (Gesture Recognition Toolkit). Moreover, the results obtained have been evaluated in order to define a set of gestures. This set has been integrated as part of an user interface used to allow the interaction on a game based on a virtual environment.
