Terapias asistidas con animales

Abstract

Desde la antigüedad, los animales han convivido con los seres humanos, han ayudado en su existencia y han mejorado su calidad de vida. Son incontables los beneficios que podemos encontrar hoy en día en la Terapia Asistida con Animales dirigidos a colectivos como mayores (tercera edad), personas con disminución en sus capacidades, trastorno del espectro autista… Y contando siempre con la ayuda de animales como co-terapeuta Este trabajo consiste en una revisión bibliográfica que va a tener como fin principal el análisis de la Terapia Asistida con Animales. Para ello, conoceremos los distintos tipos de terapia que existe con los diferentes animales en los que se ha centrado este trabajo (perros, caballos y delfines) además de dar especial énfasis a la figura necesaria e importante del trabajador social.

with the different animals in which this work has focused (dogs, horses and dolphins), besides giving special emphasis to the necessary and important figure of the social worker.
