Modernización de Japón y su deriva hacia la Segunda Guerra Mundial.

Abstract

La historia de Japón está llena de elementos llamativos que han cautivado a lo largo del tiempo a quienes se asomaron a ella. Un hecho que no pasa desapercibido es el proceso de modernización que se produce a mediados del siglo XIX con la era Meiji. En este trabajo vamos a partir del Japón feudal del siglo XVI siguiendo con la crisis que acabará produciendo el inicio de la etapa de modernización. Profundizaremos en las nuevas políticas, cambios sociales y las pervivencias que se van a mantener y que darán lugar a que Japón llegue a rivalizar con las potencias occidentales. También trataremos como Japón se distanciará cada vez más de E.E.U.U. hasta acabar atacando Pearl Harbar. Ofreceremos datos y testimonios de los horrores que se van a suceder durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial para finalizar con la inmediata postguerra y el inicio del Japón que conocemos hoy en día.

The history of Japan is full of remarkable elements whose have captivated along the time to the people from different countries. One fact which hasn't been unnoticed is the process of modernization started in the 19th century with the Meiji era. In this work, we are going to begin with the feudal Japan in the 16th century and with the crisis which is going to end with a new period of modernization. We'II go in depth with new politics, social change and the survivals that will make Japan a country able to compete with the occidental power. We will also study how Japan drift apart from the United States of America ending with the attack on Pearl Harbar. Finally, we will offer information and testimony of horror which will take part in the Second World War ending with the recently postwar and the beginning of the Japan we know nowadays.
