EL USO DE LA MUSICOTERAPIA PARA LA ESTIMULACIÓN COGNITIVA DE PERSONAS CON ALZHEIMER

Abstract

[ES] El Alzheimer es una enfermedad devastadora que afecta cada vez a un mayor número de personas, arrebatándoles poco a poco su capacidad de sentir y de pensar con claridad. Es una enfermedad que afecta tanto a las personas que la padecen como a sus familiares y cuidadoras. Aunque no existe ninguna terapia o medicamento que cure el Alzheimer, hay numerosas terapias para paliar los efectos de esta enfermedad. La musicoterapia ha demostrado tener efectos muy positivos en cuanto la estimulación cognitiva de los pacientes, la agitación, ansiedad, estado de ánimo, mejoras en su calidad de vida, etc.
