PROGRAMA DE ESTIMULACIÓN SENSORIAL DIRIGIDO AL ALUMNADO AUTISTA

Abstract

[ES] El presente Trabajo Fin de Máster surge con el objetivo de evaluar una propuesta de intervención con base en la integración sensorial, y con el uso de la estimulación de los sentidos como principal herramienta de trabajo. Está dirigido al alumnado autista, asistente a la etapa de educación infantil en Centros Específicos de Educación Especial. En primer lugar, se presenta un marco teórico en el que se ofrece una visión general sobre el autismo, se describen las actuaciones/intervenciones más empleadas a nivel psicoeducativo, y se contextualizan los modelos de intervención sensoriales, resaltando la importancia que ejerce la estimulación e integración sensorial en el desarrollo de las personas con TEA. Seguidamente se desarrolla la propuesta de intervención en la que se planifican un conjunto de actividades para estimular las experiencias del alumnado a nivel vestibular, auditivo, táctil, visual, gustativo y olfativo. Se pretende conseguir una mejora del perfil sensorial y una disminución de los comportamientos repetitivos del alumno/a, tomando como instrumentos de evaluación: “El Perfil Sensorial” y “La Escala de Comportamientos Repetitivos-Revisada”.

[EN] This Master's Project arise with the objective of evaluating a proposal of intervention based on the sensorial integration, with the use of sensory stimulation as the main working tool for autistic students who are in the special education schools, exactly in preschool stage. Firstly, a theoretical framework is presented, offering an overview of autism, describing the interventions most used at the psychoeducational level and contextualizing the models of sensorial intervention, emphasizing the importance of sensory estimation and integration in the development of people with ASD. Next, a proposal for intervention is developed in which a series of activities are planned that are intended to stimulate students' experiences in the vestibular, auditory, tactile, visual, gustatory and olfactory level. The objectives are to achieve an improvement of the sensory profile and a decrease of the repetitive behaviors of the student, taking as instruments of evaluation: "The Sensory Profile" and "The Scale of Repetitive-Revised Behaviors".
