El papel del patrimonio geológico en la gestión de espacios naturales protegidos. Aplicación al PN de Sierra Mágina.

Abstract

[ES] Un Espacio Natural Protegido tiene como objetivo ajustar sus usos y actividades a la conservación y protección de los recursos naturales donde el patrimonio geológico tiene un papel muy importante. El Parque Natural de Sierra Mágina cuenta con unas características bióticas y abióticas con valor científico, turístico y didáctico, que vienen recogidas en sus herramientas de gestión y protección del Plan de Ordenación de los Recursos Naturales (PORN) y en el Plan Rector de Uso y Gestión (PRUG). Normalmente la valoración del patrimonio geológico en el PORN y el PRUG tiene una jerarquía inferior al resto de características del medio natural, lo que convendría cambiar debido a la relación que tienen con los factores implicados en la cultura, sociedad, medio ambiente y economía.

The Natural Park of Sierra Mágina has biotic and abiotic characteristics with scientific, tourist and didactic value, which are included in its management and protection tools Natural Resources Management Plan (NRMP) and the Master Plan of Use and Management (MPUM).
