Análisis del riesgo financiero para Bankia con el modelo camel (2012 – 2016)

Abstract

[ES]La importancia del trabajo se centra en que estudia los riesgos financieros de las entidades a nivel nacional y, más concretamente, un análisis de riesgos para Bankia. Un problema cada vez con mayor preocupación social y que incluso organismos internacionales trabajan en acuerdos con recomendaciones a todo tipo de entidades. Los objetivos son la explicación teórica del efecto de los riesgos financieros en las entidades españolas y su evolución durante los últimos cinco años, y de forma práctica, utilizar el modelo de análisis de riesgo CAMEL para la entidad Bankia, obteniendo datos para su interpretación. Las conclusiones obtenidas por el análisis realizado van a dar unos resultados capaces de medir las fortalezas y debilidades de la entidad, y se exponen los beneficios e inconvenientes de la implementación del análisis CAMEL.

[EN]The importance of the work is centered on studying the financial risks of the entities at the national level and, more specifically, a risk analysis for Bankia. A problem that is increasingly of social concern and that even international organizations work in agreements with recommendations to all kinds of entities. The objectives are the theoretical explanation of the effect of financial risks on Spanish entities and their evolution during the last five years, and in a practical way, they use the CAMEL risk analysis model for Bankia, obtaining data for their interpretation. The conclusions obtained by the analysis, based on the results, are able to measure the strengths and weaknesses of the entity, and expose the benefits and drawbacks of implementing the CAMEL analysis.
