LOS FONDOS DE INVERSIÓN EN ESPAÑA EVOLUCIÓN RECIENTE

Abstract

[ES] El objetivo de este trabajo es realizar un análisis del mercado español de fondos de inversión. Se trata de una modalidad específica de institución de inversión colectiva con gran aceptación entre los ahorradores. Para profundizar en su conocimiento, se estudiarán inicialmente la figura de las instituciones de inversión colectiva. A continuación se estudiarán en profundidad las principales características y el funcionamiento de esta modalidad de inversión. Adicionalmente se realizará un análisis del desarrollo de los fondos de inversión en España entre 200 y 2015. Para ello el trabajo se centra en examinar la evolución del número de fondos, de partícipes, del volumen del patrimonio y de la rentabilidad. Todo ello de forma global y por modalidades de fondos.

[EN] The aim for this paper is to analyze the Spanish investment funds market. They are a specific form of collective investment with great acceptance among savers, Initially, we study the figure of Collective Investment Institutions, to improve our knowledge about them. Then, we consider the key features and operation of this types of investment. In addition, an analysis of the development of investment funds in Spain between 2005 and 2015 is made. This work focuses on examining the evolution of the number of funds and participants, the volume of assets and their recent profitability. We study all these features on a global basis and taking into account the different types of funds.
