LOS FONDOS INVERSIÓN EN ESPAÑA

Abstract

[ES] Los fondos ele inversión forman parte de las instituciones de inversión colectiva junto con las sociedades ele inversión. Se diferencian en la forma jnrídica bajo la que son constituidos. Inicialmente surgieron como un medio para canalizar el dinero ele los pequeños ahorradores y reactivar la economía. En la actualidad son uno de los productos financieros más empleados por los inversores dada su accesibilidad, rentabilidad y reducido riesgo. Esta última cns1s del sistema financiero ha afectado considerablemente al número de fondos y al volumen ele partícipes debido a la inestabilidad económica y financiera, aunque poco a poco se va restableciendo la situación. A lo largo de este trabajo se explican las diferentes características de los fondos de inversión y se analiza la evolución de este producto y de sus variables más relevantes a lo largo de los últimos años.

[EN] lnvestment funds are part of the group of collective investment institutions with other investment companies. Their main difference is their legal form. Initially, they emerged as a way to channel the money from small savers and revive the economy. Nowaclays, they are onc of the financia! products most usecl by the investors because of it's accessibility, profitability and reduced risk. The last crisis of the financia! system has affected considcrably the nurnber of funds and the volume of participants due to thc cconomic ancl financia! instability. J-lowever, the situation is graclually being restored. Along this paper we explain the different characteristics of the investrnent fünds. The development of this product and it' s most impor(ant variables are also analyzed.
