El Derecho del Trabajo durante la Segunda República española

Abstract

[ES]Este trabajo de fin de grado realiza un estudio sobre una de las etapas recientes de la Historia de España, la Segunda República Española, y en especial de los derechos y medidas para la protección de los trabajadores. Durante esta fase histórica, las clases trabajadoras y en general las más desfavorecidas, aspiraban a la igualdad de clases. El momento económico no era el más favorable para las reformas y esto produciría más tarde el descontento que temblaría los cimientos del Estado republicano. Medidas como la Constitución y la Ley de Contrato de Trabajo de 1931 iniciaban el grueso de las reformas, que más tarde con la llegada de la Reforma Agraria, constituirían el eje central de las medidas para proteger los derechos de los trabajadores en esta época. Todas estas reformas supusieron un enorme cambio, provocando una lucha de clases que azotaría a la República, y conduciría finalmente al levantamiento que inició la Guerra Civil española

[EN]This paper presents a brief study on one of the recent period in Spanish History, the Second Spanish Republic, and especially on the rights and measures for protection of workers. During this period, the working classes and broadly the disadvantages, aspired to equality of classes. The economic situation was not the most favorable for reforms, and it would later produce the discontent that would shake the foundations of the Republican state. Measures such as the Constitution and the Employment Contract Act of 1931 initiated the main part of the reforms, which later on, with the arrival of the famous Agrarian Reform, would constitute the focal point of the measures to protect workers’ rights in this time. All these reforms brought about a huge change, causing a great class struggle that would hit the Republic, and would finally provoke the revolt that began the Spanish Civil War
