SIMULACIÓN: APLICACIONES EN EL ÁMBITO EMPRESARIAL

Abstract

[ES] En este trabajo se lleva a cabo una revisión de algunas técnicas de simulación. La simulación, una de las herramientas matemáticas más útiles e interdisciplinares, se basa en el desarrollo de un modelo que imita una realidad compleja, con el fin de analizarla. A partir de unos datos de entrada y teniendo en cuenta las relaciones existentes en el sistema real, se obtienen unos datos de salida, que permiten estimar el resultado real y tomar decisiones consistentes. Tras establecer las fases que debe tener todo experimento de simulación y analizar algunas de las técnicas para simular valores de variables aleatorias usuales, se ilustrará el estudio con un caso práctico de economía financiera.

[EN] This work carries out a revision of some techniques about simulation. Simulation, which is one of the more useful and interdisciplinary mathematical tools, is based on the development of a model which imitates a complex reality, for the purpose of analyzing it. From some input data and taking into account the relations of the system, some output data are obtained, from which the actual result can be estimated and consistent decisions can be taken. After establishing the phases that should have any simulation experiment and analyzing some techniques to simulate values of some usual random variables, the study is illustrated by a practical case of financial economy.
