TURISMO SOSTENIBLE EN LA PROVINCIA DE JAÉN: UNA PROPUESTA DE RUTA SENDERISTA EN LA COMARCA DE SIERRA SUR

Abstract

[ES] Este Trabajo Fin de Grado se inicia con una parte más teórica y conceptual en la que se analizan dos temas principales; por una parte los inicios, historia y tipologías del turismo rural; y por otra, la vinculación con el desarrollo sostenible y con la actividad turística en general, y concretando más, con la forma de llevar a la práctica la sostenibilidad por parte del turista. Posteriormente se muestran los objetivos que se pretenden alcanzar, que consisten en la divulgación del turismo sostenible como una prioridad y en nuestra aportación a este objetivo con la propuesta de una iniciativa turística basada en una ruta senderista que recorre parta de la comarca de la Sierra Sur de la provincia de Jaén. A continuación se tratan los conceptos de ruta turística y senderismo, y la relación que existe entre ellos. Asimismo, se realiza un apunte sobre el patrimonio natural de España con referencia a algunas rutas que comparten características con nuestra propuesta, que pretende aumentar la oferta de rutas turísticas de la provincia de Jaén. Una vez planteada, se realiza una justificación del área de estudio y de los recursos territoriales elegidos, que son posteriormente analizados y descritos. Después se caracteriza cada trayecto que compone el itinerario completo acompañando la descripción con fotografías de autoría propia. Además se añade un anexo fotográfico que complementa las imágenes del recorrido. Por último, se exponen las conclusiones derivadas del estudio acerca de la necesidad de revalorizar el patrimonio natural y facilitar la posibilidad de disfrutar de esta experiencia ecoturística a cualquier visitante potencial interesado en las rutas senderistas

[EN] This final project starts with a more theoretical and conceptual part where two main issues are being analyzed; on the one hand the beginnings, history and types of rural tourism, and on the other, the close tie between sustainable development and tourism in general and the implementation of sustainability by tourists. Subsequently, the objectives to be achieved are introduced, based on the divulgation of sustainable tourism as a necessity and on the contribution of a tourist initiative based on a hiking route that is developed in the region of Sierra Sur in the province of Jaén. Then, the concepts of a tourist route and hiking, and the relationship between them are discussed. Additionally, a reference is made to the Spanish natural heritage and some routes which are framed within the same typology as our proposal, which aims to complete the offer of tourist routes in the province of Jaen. This requires a justification of the choice of location and elected territorial resources, which thus are analyzed and described. After that, each path that constitutes the entire itinerary is defined and illustrated with author’s original photographs. In addition, an appendix with photographic is included in order to complement the images of the route. Finally, the conclusions reached in this study namely the need to revalue the natural heritage and facilitate the possibility of enjoying the ecotouristic experience to any tourist interested in hiking, are presented
