Efectividad de la terapia activa en el sindrome de dolor miofascial

Abstract

[ES] El objetivo del trabajo es comprobar la efectividad de la terapia activa en el tratamiento del síndrome de dolor miofascial. Para ello, se lleva a cabo una búsqueda bibliográfica en tres bases de datos y se seleccionan siete ensayos clínicos aleatorizados. De entre estos artículos, podemos separar por un lado tres de ellos en los que se encuentran diferencias significativas en cuanto a variables como el dolor a favor de la terapia activa junto con otro tipo de tratamiento y cuatro de ellos en los que no se encuentran tales diferencias. Como conclusión, no se han encontrado suficientes estudios que determinen la efectividad de la terapia activa, por lo que veo necesario seguir investigando.

[EN] The aim of the study is to verify the effectiveness of active therapy in the treatment of myofascial pain syndrome. To do this, a bibliographic search is carried out in three databases and seven randomized clinical trials are selected. Among these articles, we can separate on the one hand three of them in which there are significant differences in terms of variables such as pain in favor of active therapy along with another type of treatment and four of them in which such differences are not found. In conclusion, sufficient studies have not been found that determine the effectiveness of the active therapy, so I see it necessary to continue investigating.
