LA REPÚBLICA COMO MODELO DE DEMOCRACIA EN LA ANTIGÜEDAD CLÁSICA

Abstract

[ES] En este trabajo voy a tratar un tema que tal vez esté ya muy gastado. Sin embargo, creo que es muy interesante echar la vista atrás para ver las raíces de nuestra sociedad, nuestra cultura, instituciones y ordenamiento jurídico, con la finalidad de entender como han llegado a ser lo que son y en qué dirección deberían evolucionar en el futuro. Todo esto, unido a mi gusto personal por el mundo antiguo, ha echo que me decida a realizar este trabajo acerca de la República romana, en el cual voy a tratar temas que van desde las instituciones hasta una problemática heredada de dicha sociedad, que aun hoy en día perdura: la corrupción.

[EN] In this paper I am going to discuss a topic that may already be very worn out. However, I think it's very interesting to look back to see the roots of our society, our culture, institutions and legal order, in order to understand how they have become what they are and in what direction should evolve in the future. All this, together with my personal taste for the world old, has made me decide to do this work about the Roman Republic, in which I go to address issues ranging from institutions to a problem inherited from that society, that even today endures: corruption.
