RELACIONES ENTRE PRÁCTICAS DE CRIANZA MATERNAS Y PROBLEMAS DE CONDUCTA EN NIÑOS Y NIÑAS DE EDUCACIÓN INFANTIL

Abstract

Este Trabajo de Fin de Grado (TFG) versa sobre uno de los factores que más preocupa a la comunidad educativa hoy en día: los problemas conductuales y emocionales de los escolares. Concretamente, se examinó la posible relación existente entre las prácticas de crianza maternas y los problemas de conducta externalizada e internalizada exhibidos por sus hijos pequeños. De un lado, las madres emitieron sus respuestas al Cuestionario sobre las Relaciones Padres-Hijo (De Roa Capilla y del Barrio, 2001), mientras que el docente informó de la frecuencia con la que niños y niñas de entre tres y seis años de edad manifestaban problemas de conducta en el contexto del aula empleando la Escala de Conducta para Educación Infantil. Los resultados obtenidos mostraron que la mayor frecuencia de problemas internalizados de los escolares se asoció con aquellas madres que informaron menores niveles de disciplina, afecto y compromiso en la crianza de sus hijos.

This Final Degree Project (TFG) revolves around one of the factors that more concerns the educational community today: the behavioural and emotional problems of schoolchildren. Specifically, the possible relationship between parenting practices and the problems about externalize and internalize behaviour of their children was examine. On the one hand, the mothers gave their responses to the Questionnaire on Parent-Child Relations (De Roa Capilla and El Barrio, 2001), while the teacher reported on the frequency with which children between three and six years of age express behavioural problems in the class context using of the Conduct Scale for Early Childhood Education. The results obtain showed that the most frequency of the problems internalized by the students was associated with the mothers who reported in a low level of discipline, affection and commitment to raising their children.
