Lingüística aplicada a la enseñanza del español como lengua extranjera: dificultades de la adquisición de los verbos ser y estar

Abstract

El principal objetivo de este trabajo es el de explicar la dificultad con la que se encuentran los extranjeros cuando aprenden los verbos copulativos ser y estar. Este conflicto es frecuente en aquellos que no tienen el español como lengua materna, siendo una de las grandes razones que lo provocan la falta de intuición en la lengua meta. Otro gran motivo es que estos verbos son presentados como una dualidad, es decir, se enseñan y aprenden conjuntamente, cuando lo más eficiente es entender de forma individual la alternancia de estos. De esta forma, en este trabajo se persigue el conocimiento de manera particular tratando a estas cópulas como entes dispares, evitando así confusión entre ellas. Asimismo, detallaré los elementos que suelen acompañarlas, con la intención de analizar los contextos en los que aparecen.

The main purpose of this project is that of explaining the difficulty found by foreign students when facing the verbs ser and estar. This dichotomy is frequent in those students who do not have Spanish as mother tongue, being the lack of intuition in the target language one of the main reasons. Another important cause which provokes problems is that these verbs are often developed as a duality, it means, they are taught and learnt together; however, the most efficient way to face these verbs and their alternation is to consider them as individual elements. Thus, throughout this project, the acquisition of the use of these two verbs is sought by means of treating them as disparate elements, avoiding confusion between them. Furthermore, elements which often go with them will be detailed, with the goal of analyzing the different contexts where "ser" and "estar" are likely to appear.
