De los Austrias a los Borbones. La Figura Política del Cardenal Portocarrero.

Abstract

El cambio dinástico es uno de los hechos más importantes de la Historia Moderna de España, dentro de este va a destacar la figura del Cardenal Portocarrero como artífice del cambio dinástico, a través de una política en la que busca acabar con los males de España propios del Siglo XVII e instaurar un príncipe capaz de cambiar estos males, pero siempre manteniendo la estructura tradicional encarnado en la figura del Duque de Anjou y futuro Felipe V una vez Carlos II le deje sus posesiones y Reinos. Pero no resulta nada fácil este hecho ya que el cambio dinástico en favor de los Borbones va a traer una Guerra tanto Civil como Internacional contra la Alianza de la Haya ante la posible ruptura de equilibrio en Europa, donde España va a perder sus posesiones europeas pasando estas a sus rivales a raíz de los Tratados de Utrecht, Rasttat y Baden.
