REVISIÓN BIBLIOGRÁFICA SOBRE LAS ARTES SUNTUARIAS EGIPCIAS

Abstract

Las artes suntuarias egipcias son un arte poco estudiado, siendo importante para los estudios posteriores. Se hace una lectura exhaustiva de diferentes autores, y se recopila toda la información necesaria de los diferentes objetos o piezas pertenecientes al mobiliario, joyería, orfebrería, cerámica, tejido y vidrio, llegando a conocer sus materiales, usos y procesos de elaboración de éstos. Entre todos ellos destacan piezas y descubrimientos importantes para la investigación y para el entendimiento de la sociedad egipcia.

Egyptian Sumptuary arts are a little studied, art still important for further studies. A thorough reading of different authors, is made and collected all the necessary information of the different objects or items belonging to the furniture, jewelry, metalwork, ceramics, fabric, and glass, coming to know their materials, applications, and processes of preparation of these. All of them include parts and important discoveries for research and for the understanding of Egyptian society.
