EXTERNALIZACIÓN DE FUNCIONES EN EL ÁMBITO DE LA DEFENSA: LAS EMPRESAS MILITARES DE SEGURIDAD.

Abstract

[ES] Este trabajo de investigación trata sobre la industria de seguridad y de defensa, más concretamente todas aquellas cuestiones que rodean a la externalización de funciones relacionadas con la seguridad y la defensa. Estudiaremos cómo las fuerzas armadas, tanto en el caso español como en el resto de principales países, utilizan la externalización de servicios para dar respuesta a las necesidades que tienen los gobiernos y los estados en cuanto a seguridad y defensa se refiere. Analizaremos la externalización de este tipo de servicios militares desde sus comienzos históricos hasta nuestros días, distinguiendo así sus ventajas y desventajas, y la forma en la que se aplica en los diversos países.

[EN] This research work deals with the security and defense industry, more specifically all those issues that surround the outsourcing of functions related to security and defense. We will study how the armed forces, both in the Spanish case and in the rest of the main countries, use the outsourcing of services to respond to the needs of governments and states regarding security and defense. We will analyze the outsourcing of this type of military services from its historical beginnings to the present day, distinguishing its advantages and disadvantages, and the way in which it is applied in different countries.
