Creación y gestión de una base de datos con MySQL y phpMyAdmin

Abstract

[ES] En este trabajo nos centraremos en la creación de una base de datos utilizando un servidor MySQL, su gestión mediante phpMyAdmin y sus tareas de mantenimiento. Por otro lado, veremos las ventajas que nos ofrece MySQL frente a otros tipos de bases de datos, el lenguaje SQL y los comandos más útiles enfocados a una tienda virtual. El objetivo final del trabajo es que el lector aprenda los conceptos básicos de las bases de datos MySQL y del propio lenguaje SQL, así como que aprenda a crear y gestionar una base de datos en un sitio virtual.

[EN] In this project we will focus on creating a database using a MySQL server, its management by using PhpMyAdmin and the maintenance tasks. On the other side, we will see the advantages that MySQL offers compared other kind of databases, the SQL language and the most useful commands focused on a virtual site. The final objective of this project is that the reader learn the basic concepts of MySQL databases and the SQL language so as learn to create and manage a database on a virtual site.
